Question:
My system worked fine until I incresed video resolution and/or color depth in Windows ?
Answer:
It is a more common problem using AGP video in Win95 than Win98. For motherboard using
non-Intel chipset like VIA, ALI, or SIS, and running Win95, you may need to run motherboard AGP
driver (bundled with USB driver in some version) before loading video
driver. For Win98, get an updated Win98 video driver. For Windows NT, get newest option pack for
better AGP supports.
Question:
Why did my system not boot up, (had no image on screen), after I install in the case ?
Answer:
If it booted OK outside the case, it could be an installation problem. Remove all cards and re-install
one a time. VGA card first. Make sure the card is fully inserted in the slot. (AGP card is more
sensitive and prone to error). In some situations, you
may need to bend the rear bracket on the 'L' to fit, or adjust stand-offs and screws beneath the
motherboard.
Check directions of cable connections, especially IDE.
